The Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) has made various efforts to improve regional treasury services. One of them is by developing a Bank Account Management Information System (siMerak). The launch of the siMerak application was inaugurated by Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono at Balai Agung Great Hall, City Hall, Jakarta, Monday (10/16).
The advantage of this application is that it can make reports anywhere
Jakarta Acting Governor Heru said the siMerak application has advantages that can be used by Jakarta ASNs. One of them is the flexibility of using applications that can be used anywhere.
"The advantage of this application is that it can make reports anywhere, it can be controlled, listed, printed, checked according to the Governor's Certificate," he expressed, in the Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Tuesday (10/17).
JAKI and Beritajakarta Socialized to TDS Urban Village Residents and OfficialsWith this system, management could also be made transparently because monitoring could be carried out by anyone.
"This application is specifically for treasurers, during the disbursement process they create an account, we can know, they can be anywhere when creating a joint account with Bank DKI. They have also obtained permission from Bank Indonesia and others," he explained.
The development of siMerak is based on Government Regulation Number 12/2019 Article 222 regarding the Implementation of Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE). This system demands a paradigm shift in Regional Financial Management from previously oriented towards document flow to electronic data and information flow.
He appreciated the ranks of the Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency for making improvements and innovations in regional treasury services to complete the implementation of non-cash transactions which started in 2015.
"These innovations range from the electronic issuance of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD), structuring regional government accounts, the development of the Bank Account Management Information System (siMerak), to the development of the Regional Revenue Management Information System (SIMPAD)," he explained.
Jakarta BPKD Head, Michael Rolandi C Brata explained that Jakarta is currently the only regional government whose regional financial management is carried out non-cash.
Currently, he explained, BPKD continues to innovate in regional financial administration. One of them is the transformation of treasury services.
"Of course, to support what has been planned in order to carry out its duties, including issuing a manual Fund Provision Letter (SPD). Previously, if the treasurer from Seribu Islands wanted to process the SPD, they had to first sail from Seribu Islands to Jakarta. However, now this process isn't done because there is an electronic solution, in collaboration with the Electronic Certificate Center," he stated.
